About Fake an EggRead more ▾

Fake an Egg is a Roblox simulation game from Slime Time Studios. You buy eggs, hatch pets that earn cash, and then disguise yourself as an egg inside another player's pen. When someone buys you, you get paid, and while you are there you can steal one of their pets. The game launched on October 4, 2026, runs 10-player servers, and passed 25 million visits in its first three weeks.

How a round works

Every round follows the same loop. You buy an egg at the central field, carry it back to your pen, and drop it on a nest pad. The hatch timer on the egg label tells you how long to wait; common eggs take about a minute, while rarer eggs take much longer. The pet then earns cash every second, even while you are offline.

Cash buys more eggs and more nest slots. When the pen is full, open the Pets menu, sort by income, and sell the weakest pet at the shop beside the leaderboards. The other half of the game is theft: climb into a green pipe, pick an unlocked egg as a disguise, wait for a buyer, then grab one pet from the pen and carry it home before the owner swings a bat.

Two early upgrades matter more than another cheap egg: a second nest slot, so two pets earn at once, and a full feeder, which adds 50% to every pet in the pen. Buy both before you spend on an egg you cannot afford to hatch quickly.

What changed this week

Fake an Egg launched on October 4, 2026 and passed 25 million visits in its first three weeks. On October 26 it was holding roughly 30,000 to 40,000 concurrent players, with an approval rate around 89% and a 10-player server cap.

The Halloween update arrived on October 23 with new pets and a new rarity tier. The event is scheduled to end on November 2, so Halloween eggs and themed mutations are temporary. A Mr. Egg Party with admin eggs was listed for the evening of October 26.

There are still no official codes. Anything that asks for a password, a Roblox cookie, or an executor is not a reward, it is a scam. Our Halloween page explains the free rewards that do exist. Prices and player counts move fast in a game this young, so every table here carries the date it was checked.

Where to start

Read in this order: the beginner guide for your first pet and first steal, the eggs guide for prices and hatch times, then the best pets tier list and the pet values table for what to keep and what to sell. The map guide covers pen layouts and escape routes, the money guide covers upgrades and rebirth order, and the Halloween page covers the event window.

Two honest warnings. Pet values here are community estimates taken from player footage, not official drop rates; Slime Time Studios has never published odds. And there is no legitimate script for this game, so we do not host one. Each guide ends with an FAQ for the questions players ask most. If you only have five minutes, read the beginner guide and the eggs table first; they answer most first-day questions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Fake an Egg the same game as Steal an Egg?+

No. Fake an Egg is a 10-player Roblox game from Slime Time Studios, launched on October 4, 2026. Steal an Egg is a different game with different pets, eggs and values. Pet tables from one do not transfer to the other.

Does Fake an Egg have codes?+

No. As of October 26, 2026 there are no official Fake an Egg codes, and the Roblox page has no code field. The free rewards that do exist come from the tutorial, the Shark unlock, the Index and event parties. Any site offering a code, a cookie or an executor is a scam.

How many players are in a Fake an Egg server?+

Ten. That small cap is why stealing works: you can learn where each pen's owner is, and an empty pen is a safe place to grab a pet. Larger servers would make every steal a crowd fight.

Is Fake an Egg pay-to-win?+

Not directly. The gamepasses add nest slots, faster hatching, a cash multiplier and extra scanners, but no pass sells a pet outright. Every pet still comes from an egg you hatch or a pen you rob. Spend Robux only if you want to skip waiting, not because a paid pet is stronger.

What is the fastest first-hour route?+

Finish the tutorial, like the game and join the group to free the Shark, then fill the feeder and buy a second nest slot. While those pets earn, use your hatch waits to scout busy pens. One clean Rare steal is worth more than a dozen cheap eggs, and it costs nothing but timing.
