Fake an Egg Eggs List: Prices, Rarity and Hatch Times
Every Fake an Egg egg we could verify, with prices, rarity and hatch tips. No invented odds — plus a simple method for testing a new egg yourself.
Egg prices in Fake an Egg climb from $30 to over $100 million, and the label on each egg is the only number the game actually promises you. Hatch odds are not published anywhere official. Any site quoting a neat percentage table is guessing, including the ones that look professional.
So this page does two jobs. It records the prices and rarities that can be checked in-game as of October 26, 2026, and it gives you a repeatable way to test odds yourself when a new egg appears.

How eggs work
Eggs sit in the central egg field. You cannot hatch one where it stands. Pick it up, carry it to a nest pad inside your own pen, and place it. A timer starts. When the timer ends, the egg opens and the pet goes into your collection.
Three details change how you buy:
- The label shows name, rarity, price and hatch time. Read it before paying. A cheap egg with a long timer can be worse than a slightly dearer egg that hatches fast.
- Night doubles hatch speed. The HUD shows a "NIGHT Hatch Speed x2" banner. If you are about to start a long egg, waiting for night is free value.
- Your pen has limited slots. A full pen blocks new pets, so either sell something or buy a slot upgrade behind the pen before starting a batch.
The only hatch time we could confirm from the game's own labels is the Bunny Egg at 60 seconds. Every other egg shows its timer on the label, and those timers are the number to trust over any table online.
Egg prices and rarity (verified in-game, October 26, 2026)
Prices below come from the egg labels and a community-compiled list updated on October 26. Treat the order as stable and the exact prices as patch-sensitive; a balance update can move a number without changing the egg.
| Egg | Rarity | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Bunny | Common | $30 |
| Cat | Common | $47 |
| Dog | Common | $96 |
| Cow | Common | $280 |
| Goat | Uncommon | $390 |
| Llama | Uncommon | $1,200 |
| Zebra | Uncommon | $2,700 |
| Capybara | Rare | $8,300 |
| Wolf | Rare | $15,000 |
| Gorilla | Rare | $26,000 |
| Lion | Rare | $46,000 |
| Badger | Rare | $81,000 |
| Crocodile | Epic | $250,000 |
| T-Rex | Legendary | $7,200,000 |
| Spinosaurus | Legendary | $8,700,000 |
| Great Dane | Mythic | about $11,000,000 |
| Griffin | Mythic | about $23,000,000 |
| Wyvern | Mythic | $110,000,000 |
Community-priced eggs, not official odds. Prices verified October 26, 2026.
The jump from Crocodile at $250,000 to T-Rex at $7.2 million is the real wall in the game. There is no egg in the low millions to bridge it, which is why most players spend that stretch stealing pets instead of buying eggs.
Rarity, and the Celestial question
The rarity ladder visible in the game and on egg labels runs:
Common → Uncommon → Rare → Epic → Legendary → Mythic → Secret → Exotic → Divine
The Halloween update added a new top tier above the previous ceiling. Community listings and pet-trading posts use Celestial for that layer, and Celestial pets such as Cuca appear in third-party trade listings with reported incomes in the millions per second. We have not seen an official post that names the tier, so treat Celestial as the community label until the in-game Index confirms it.
Two things rarity does not tell you:
Rarity is not income. A Mythic Great Dane and a Mythic Griffin share a tier but not a paycheck. Use the pet values table when the decision is about cash.
A prefix is not a rarity. Gold, Diamond and Rainbow are mutations attached to the pet, not a higher rarity bracket. A Rainbow Dog is still a Dog with a multiplier, not a Divine pet.
There are no official hatch odds — test them yourself
Roblox games are not required to publish loot odds unless they sell the egg for Robux, and Fake an Egg sells eggs for in-game cash. That means the honest answer to "what is the drop rate" is: nobody outside the studio knows.
If you want a usable estimate, run a sample instead of trusting a screenshot:
- Pick one egg and buy 20 of it. Use an egg you can afford to lose.
- Hatch all 20 in the same session, at the same time of day.
- Write down every pet, including duplicates and mutations.
- Repeat on a different day before drawing a conclusion.
Twenty hatches is enough to spot a common-versus-rare split, not enough to pin a 1% drop. If you see one Secret in 20, the true rate could still be anywhere from 1% to 15%. Post the raw counts, not a single lucky screenshot.
Be equally suspicious of "best egg" claims based on one opening. A Griffin video with two Mythics in five eggs is entertainment, not evidence.
Which egg should you buy right now?
The answer depends on how much cash you can lose without stopping your income.
| Your cash | Buy this | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Under $1,000 | Bunny, Cat, Dog | Fill slots, learn the loop |
| $1,000-$10,000 | Goat, Llama, Zebra | Better income without emptying your wallet |
| $10,000-$100,000 | Capybara, Wolf, Gorilla, Lion | Mid-game workhorses |
| $100,000-$1,000,000 | Badger, Crocodile | Strong pets, still replaceable |
| Over $7,000,000 | T-Rex, Spinosaurus | Only after pen slots and food are sorted |
A good rule: never spend more than half your cash on one egg. The other half pays for food, slot upgrades and the next egg when this one hatches into a duplicate.
Mutations and fusion
Eggs can hatch with a Gold, Diamond or Rainbow mutation. Mutations raise the pet's cash output, and the exact multipliers are not published. Do not sell a mutated pet just because you already own the plain version; check its income first.
The Fuse Machine sits beside the leaderboards and the sell shop. Hold three pets near it and they combine into a higher-tier pet. Fusion is the main use for duplicate commons once your pen is full, and it can also apply a mutation to the result.
Fusion is not free value. Three pets that each produce cash are worth more than one pet that produces slightly more, until the fused pet's income passes the sum of the three. Check before you fuse your only good pets.
Limited and event eggs
Halloween brought themed eggs and pets, and the game has run admin events where special eggs appear for a short window. Those eggs are not part of the permanent field list above and their prices change per event.
Do not buy an event egg at a markup from another player unless you can see the pet's income in a trade window. Event exclusivity is not the same as power. Our Halloween event page tracks what is actually live and when it ends.
FAQ
What is the cheapest egg in Fake an Egg? The Bunny Egg at $30. The tutorial gives you one free.
What is the most expensive egg? The Wyvern Egg at $110,000,000 in the current community list. Prices can change after updates.
Do eggs have different hatch times? Yes. The Bunny Egg is 60 seconds; every other egg prints its timer on the label. Night doubles hatch speed.
Can you get a Secret from any egg? Secret, Exotic and Divine pets are associated with the higher egg tiers and event eggs, not with Bunny or Cat Eggs. There is no official per-egg odds table.
Is there a Celestial Egg? Community guides and trade listings reference one, but we could not verify a permanent Celestial Egg on the field as of October 26, 2026. Check the egg field and the Index after an update.
Should I buy eggs or steal pets? Both. Eggs give you a stable base; stealing gives you jumps that your cash cannot buy yet. The beginner guide shows the order, and the money guide covers when stealing beats hatching.
