Realistic Home Defense Money Guide: Cash Multipliers

How cash works in both Realistic Home Defense games, the free multipliers to stack first, and the buy order that survives a three-minute round.

Last Updated: October 29, 2026

Two free multipliers exist, and most players never turn either on. In the IBA Community version, playing with friends earns bonus cash and joining the Roblox group adds another multiplier. In the [NVG's] alpha, cash comes from kills and round rewards, and the paid MVP pass raises that to 1.45x.

That is the whole economy in three lines. The rest of this page is the order to spend it in, and the traps that eat a round's income before the round matters.

Where cash comes from in each game

The two games pay out on different clocks.

The IBA version pays continuously. Its description lists two multipliers and no round structure: friend bonus and group bonus. There is no published per-kill payout, no round-end payout and no stated cap, which suggests the income is tied to playtime and actions rather than to a buy phase. The passes page covers what the store adds to that.

The alpha pays per round. Kills and round rewards generate cash, and that cash is spent on rifles, silencers and grenades. One life, three minutes, last team standing: the payout follows the round result, so a round you lose early is a round you earn nothing from. The [NVG's] alpha page states the round rules directly.

That difference changes how you should play. In the IBA version, time in the server is income. In the alpha, the round result is income, so surviving to the end of a lost round still beats dying at the door in thirty seconds.

The free multipliers, in order

Join the group. The IBA Community group had 72,354 members on October 29, 2026, and the game description says membership grants an extra money multiplier. It is free, it is permanent, and it takes thirty seconds. Do it before your first match, because the multiplier does not backdate.

Play with a friend. The second multiplier is explicitly for playing with friends. It does not require a full squad; it requires one other person in your party. If you have nobody to play with, the group bonus alone is still worth having.

Use the shooting range in the alpha. Not a multiplier, but the range is free practice and it is the difference between buying a gun you can use and buying one you cannot. A wasted purchase is a negative multiplier.

No cash codes

The group bonus is the only free multiplier either game publishes. Any page offering a "money code" or a "cash glitch" is selling you a script, which is a ban risk, not an economy tip. The codes page explains why no code exists.

The alpha buy order

Rounds are short and one life is unforgiving, so the first purchases should reduce the number of ways you can lose.

Round one: a rifle you can control. The starting weapon exists; the first upgrade should be the gun whose recoil you already tested on the range. Do not buy the newest gun because it is new.

Round two: a silencer. The alpha's guns shoot through thin walls, which means every shot is a sound cue and a line at the same time. A suppressor cuts the sound half. That is the cheapest information advantage in the store, and the wall penetration page explains what it does and does not hide.

Round three: grenades, one at a time. A grenade solves the corner you cannot win by peeking. Buy one after you have lost the same corner twice, not before.

Round four and later: the multiplier. This is where MVP's 1.45x or VIP's 1.20x starts compounding. Buying it early is better than buying it late, because every round after the purchase pays more. The controls page covers the buy-phase key you will be pressing every round.

The mistake almost everyone makes is buying the most expensive gun first. It is the least efficient purchase in the game: it costs the most, it arrives when you have the least practice, and it does not fix the problem that actually kills you, which is a doorway you cannot see through.

What not to buy

Cosmetic skins before multipliers. The alpha sells diamond and gold skins inside MVP and VIP, and the IBA version sells an avatar unlock. None of them change a round. If your budget is one purchase, it should not be a skin.

The secondary slot before you need it. The IBA version's Secondary Weapon Slot is real value, but only if you are actually running dry mid-fight. If you die with ammo left, the slot is not your problem.

Anything from a third-party site. No cash, no pass and no code is sold outside Roblox. A "cash generator" is an account theft attempt with a progress bar.

Armor before you understand the map. Body Armor in the alpha is the least documented pass in either game: the description is the words "vest" and "helmet". Buy it after you know which angles kill you, not before.

How much the passes actually change the economy

Here is the comparison that matters, using the published multipliers only.

Source Multiplier Cost
Group bonus (IBA) Extra multiplier, value unpublished Free
Friend bonus (IBA) Bonus cash, value unpublished Free
VIP (alpha) 1.20x kills and round rewards Robux, limited offer
MVP (alpha) 1.45x kills and round rewards Robux, limited offer

The free multipliers are unpublished, so nobody can tell you their exact percentage. The paid ones are published, and the gap between them is 0.25x. That gap is the entire difference between VIP and MVP on income; everything else in those passes is discounts, titles and skins.

If you play the alpha for an hour a day, 0.25x is worth more than any gun discount, because it applies to every round forever. If you play twice a week, the discount on the newest gun might be worth more than the multiplier, because you are not around long enough for the multiplier to compound.

The one number neither game publishes

Neither game publishes a cash-per-minute figure, a round payout table or a price list. That is not an oversight you can work around with a better guide; it is information the developers have not released.

What you can do is measure it yourself. Play five rounds, note the cash before and after, and divide. That gives you a rate for your own play, which is more useful than a global average anyway, because your income depends on how often you survive to the end of a round.

Do that once, and you will know whether the MVP pass pays for itself in your hands in a week or a month. Nobody else can answer that for you.

FAQ

How do you get money fast in Realistic Home Defense? Join the group and play with a friend in the IBA version; in the alpha, survive rounds and take the MVP multiplier. There is no code and no shortcut outside those systems.

Is there a money glitch? No legitimate one. Scripts that claim to add cash are exploits and put the Roblox account at risk, not just the game session.

How much does the group bonus pay? The game does not publish the percentage. It is described only as an extra money multiplier.

Does MVP stack with VIP? The descriptions do not say, and stacking is not documented. Assume they do not stack and buy one.

What should I buy first in the alpha? A rifle you have tested on the range, then a silencer, then grenades. The multiplier is the fourth purchase, not the first.

Are the limited offers permanent? No. MVP and VIP are labelled LIMITED OFFER, and Double Utilities and Body Armor are at 50% off as of October 29, 2026. Prices and availability can change with any update.

The game passes page lists every item with its exact description, and the wall penetration page explains why the silencer is the best early purchase. Start from the hub if you are still choosing a game.
